Introducing the Trials and Tribulations of Super Mom

Introductions are always pretty lame. There is so much you want to say without sounding self-absorbed. And for a blog? It’s even more difficult.

I’m nothing special. Same as many other people. I’m a professional working in the banking industry. I’m a wife, a step-mother to a beautiful seven year old daughter who I’m lucky her parents share with me, a mother to a 15 month old son, and a woman who has gone from bed-ridden to an active runner.

None of the accomplishments are my solely own, but they are things I’ve worked hard to achieve. “Be the change that you want to see in the world” is my motto and really the only thing you can truly change is yourself. Change yourself, advocate for yourself, and people will see your success and follow in suit.

There will be blunders a long the way. You will fall, scrape, and break your body. But you get back up, identify something new, and focus on it.

Trials and Tribulations is a blog about my falls and scrapes. It’ll be funny. It’ll be sad. It’ll be exactly what I am. A work in progress. A collage. And maybe, it will inspire someone, encourage them, or just help them get through a bad day. So follow along.

About Jamie Webster

Just your average blogger. Married 2 years with two wonderful children who are 6 years apart. Little about me: I’m turning 31 this year (yikes), have had 9 foot surgeries in 8 years and have spent a little over 4 years of my life in and out of a wheel chair (or scooter). And today, I am training for a half marathon. I attribute two major changes in my life to my healing: the power of goal setting and going gluten free.
